In the summer of 2022, London City Airport began a period of community engagement on their new plans, culminating in a planning application to the London Borough of Newham in December 2022. They needed a studio that could deliver across print and digital simultaneously, to a series of fixed deadlines with no room for slippage.

We provided graphic design, typesetting and web design and development across the full consultation. In print, this included consultation leaflets, feedback forms, exhibition pull-up banners and the Statement of Community Involvement, a formal, typeset document requiring careful layout, clear hierarchy and data visualisation. Online, we built a consultation website featuring a 3D virtual exhibition.

Delivering across both print and digital required close coordination between our design and development teams as well as with our client team. Working closely together with careful management and open communication everything was produced on time and to brief.
